Maci Bedard
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the state of Florida. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Southeastern University and am currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
As a new mom and a person of faith, I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate life's challenges. I take a strengths-based approach to therapy, empowering clients to build on their existing abilities and achieve meaningful goals. My primary therapeutic approaches include play therapy, art therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma through crisis intervention services. Additionally, I have provided individual therapy for children and adolescents experiencing emotional dysregulation, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Conduct Disorder.
I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where clients can heal, grow, and work toward their goals. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey!
