Therapist
Thank you for being here! I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my page.
I believe one of the most meaningful parts of being human is our ability to grow, heal, and find our way back to ourselves; even through life’s hardest moments. Along the way, we can become disconnected from who we are beneath the anxiety, shame, expectations, and pressure to be everything for everyone else. We may lose touch with our needs or forget to trust our own inner voice. My approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. I want you to feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are, without judgment or the pressure to have everything figured out.
I bring over a decade of experience in mental health and social services, including residential treatment, wilderness therapy, outpatient case management, and crisis counseling. I have supported adolescents, young adults, families, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, PTSD, life transitions, and other difficult seasons of life.
My clinical approach draws from Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and I tailor our work to your unique needs and goals. Together, we can explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped you, develop tools for navigating difficult emotions, and deepen your connection to yourself
I don’t believe counseling is about fixing you because I don’t believe you are broken. Rather, it is an opportunity to better understand yourself, reconnect with what matters most, and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful. My hope is to help you move beyond simply coping and toward feeling more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself. To trust your own voice, honor your needs, and feel more at home in who you are.
Whether you are beginning counseling for the first time or continuing a journey you have already started, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I hope to offer a space where you can breathe, be honest about what you’re experiencing, and explore yourself with compassion and curiosity. You don’t have to become someone new to heal. Sometimes, healing is about remembering who you are beneath everything you have learned you need to be.
Outside of counseling, I love being in the sun, spending time near the ocean, and finding any excuse to be outdoors. I’m currently learning to surf and enjoy exploring new places and connecting with nature.
